About Elyssa

Elyssa is an author and environmental scientist from New England, who began writing novels in grade school and telling stories before she could write. Her work has previously been featured in the University of Notre Dame’s literary magazine.

When not writing, Elyssa enjoys hiking, baking, traveling, and reading. Listing all of her favorite authors would require a website in itself, but a few top picks include Terry Pratchett, Agatha Christie, Frances Hodgson Burnett, Martha Wells, and Kahlil Gibran.

Elyssa was the only student in her sophomore year class who actually enjoyed Moby Dick, which is widely agreed to be a serious but ultimately forgivable character flaw.
